g. DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, at a new housing development, a resident called to report a sewage release. Upon arrival, the reporting party observed sewage actively coming out of a manhole. Further inspection revealed a private pump station with a fail message. The estimated sewage release is approximately 500,000 gallons. Two (2) nearby storm drains were impacted by this release, but both lead to a routing bioswale. The reporting party promptly contacted a contractor to oversee the cleanup process. Vacuum trucks and dirt were used to stop and contain the release at approximately 1320 hours. Cleanup efforts are still ongoing. | ||
