g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: A list station located near a campsite along the Tuolumne River had a cleanout that was not plugged, causing an overflow of sewage to occur. This sewage began to flow down towards the river, however the soft dirt absorbed some of the material and caused it to move slowly. Some material still made it to the river. Personnel on scene began covering the sewage with dirt and made dirt slopes to stop the flow while also starting the pumps. Once the pumps were started, the reporting party was able to stop and contain the material. The release began at 1345 hours and was stopped anywhere between 1350 and 1400 hours. The river will be sampled and tested for contamination.
