g. DESCRIPTION: Reporting Party states (unconfirmed) it is believed that a lift station malfunctioned, causing a back-up to a manhole. The sewage went into a street, which eventually led to a majority of the spill going into a storm drain. The storm drain goes directly out to the San Diego Bay (final outflow). Containment measures were deployed, blocking additional sewage from going into the San Diego Bay. A vac-truck is enroute to remove the sewage. The lift station issue has been resolved.
