g. DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, during drilling at an old gas station in Vallejo, which also had a potential dry cleaner, there was a possible release of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) gasoline and Tetrachloroethylene (PCE), a dry cleaning chemical. The property owner sought to conduct due diligence by testing the groundwater. Results showed 1,200 micrograms per liter of TPHG, exceeding the priority level of 760 micrograms per liter. PCE was detected at 3,300 micrograms per liter in the groundwater. There is no surface release; the contaminants are confined to the underground tanks. The former tanks at the site have been removed. | ||
