g. DESCRIPTION: Per reporting party, a passenger vehicle drove off the road and caused a release of 5 gallons of Muriatic Acid. The vehicle is currently on the right shoulder. Local fire department and CHP are on scene conducting their investigation. Trinity Road at Cavedale Road has been closed as a precaution, with county road authorities en route to shut down Highway 12. There are no reports of fires or impact to waterways at this time. Efforts to contain the spill are underway, with the majority of the spill contained; however, Hazmat team is onsite to ensure proper cleanup.
