Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, a third-party contractor has inadvertently struck a natural gas pipeline, resulting in the release of an undetermined amount of natural gas into the atmosphere. SoCal crews are currently en route to address and mitigate the situation. The release is ongoing, but it is confirmed that no waterways have been impacted at this time. Evacuations are in place, and local authorities have closed Meyer Street to North Hill Street.
