DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : An equipment malfunction on a pad mounted transformer caused the release of approximately 20 gallons of transformer oil (unknown PCB content; test results are pending). The release has been stopped. The material impacted the concrete transformer pad as well as the soil around the pad. SMUD internal hazmat crew was on site to conduct clean up. Reporting Party will call back with PCB content test results.
