g. DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, while removing a 55-gallon drum of material, the business accidentally tipped it over, resulting in a spill of 10 gallons of peracetic acid. The release was contained, but the chemical flowed into the storm drain. The responsible party diluted the chemical with 330 gallons of water. A puddle in the storm drain was measured at a pH of 5. Recovery of the spill was not possible due to its location in the storm drain. | ||
