g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A solo semi truck was involved in a vehicle collision causing the release of material. The diesel fuel released from one of the saddle fuel tanks and the motor oil from the engine block. The material impacted the asphalt roadway and some of the material ran into a dry creek (Lava Wash); it is unknown where this runs to. There were no injuries or fatalities. The freeway (I-40) is temporarily being shut down while a tow truck removes the vehicle. The release has been stopped. CHP, Cal Trans and Fire department have all responding. Cal Trans is on scene to handle clean up for now with possibility of contractor being contacted for additional.
