g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: An unknown third party contractor damaged a half inch plastic service line causing a release of natural gas at a residence. The release began at 1127 hours and was controlled at 1251 hours by shutting off the gas line. The local fire department arrived on scene and implemented evacuation orders for 4 houses, totalling in 6 resident evacuations. They also closed the intersection of Horten St. and Cedros Ave. Following gas control, the evacuation orders were lifted at 1254 hours and the streets were reopened at 1255 hours. SoCal Gas maintenance personnel will be conducting repair of the damaged service line.
