g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: A release of sanitary sewage occurred at a lateral cleanout due to a blockage in the pipeline. It is unknown what is causing the blockage. The material moved onto the city sidewalk and down into nearby storm drains, which lead to Elmhurst Creek. At the time of the report, the release is ongoing and is deemed recoverable. The incident is currently under investigation.
