g. DESCRIPTION: Per the NRC report, the caller stated that a southbound Amtrak passenger train struck and killed a bicyclist at a grade crossing controlled by lights, gates, and bells. The incident occurred at DOT crossing number 026838 H. The train number was A770 CDTX 2112. A passenger train delay is expected, and a bus bridge will be used. There was no derailment or Hazmat release. There is an investigation underway.
