Orignal Description:/// Historical Report /// Per the Reporting Party : He observed a rainbow colored sheen on water inside the engine room of a vessel that had partial submerged and is run aground. The vessel is an older model wooden construction vessel name "Vaquero II" and is approximately 65 feet long and approximately 18 feet in breadth. There was no visible CF number or any other identifying numbers, It was previously used to transport livestock (cows). The vessel is run aground and has been there for over 3 years (it is visible on Google Earth in June 2021). It is unknown if there are any fuel tanks on board or any fuel still in the engines. Plans are being made to possibly remove the vessel later this year or next year. No affects to wildlife were observed. | ||||||

The vessel sank in the Sand Mound Slough due to unknown causes. According to the caller the vessel has been at the location for (2-3) years. The amount of material that is releasing is unknown to the caller."
