Orignal Description:Per the Reporting Party: A semi truck involved in a solo vehicle accident went off the side of the road rupturing one of its saddle fuel tanks causing the material to release onto the dirt on side of the road an into a unknown name waterway; it is unknown where waterway leads. The saddle tank is actively leaking. 75 gallons of fuel was in the saddle tank at the time of the collision. The Fire Department is also on scene with CHP. The driver of the truck was not injured. The #3 and #4 lanes of South Bound I 15 south of State Route 138 are temporarily closed. A tow is being contacted to remove the semi truck and a contractor will be handling clean up. Cal Trans is also on scene.

Per the NRC Report: "Caller is reporting that a tractor trailer went off the road way through a guard rail and into a dry basin. Caller states the saddle tanks ruptured discharging diesel." Remedial Actions: "They are working on getting the truck out of the ditch. Placed absorbatns."
