Orignal Description:Per reporting party: Due to normal operating procedure there is a release of HCN ( Hydrogen Cyanide) out to the atmosphere. The EPA sent a letter requesting to test for this constituent. The callers states results were 28.68 lbs per day, which is higher than the normal 10 lbs.

Per NRC report: The caller is reporting a release of hydrogen cyanide (HCN) from a kiln main banghouse at the facility. The cause of the release is from the normal process in the facility. The caller states that the EPA has never tracked the release before
