DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: On December 10, 2024, at approximately 2255 hours, a water main break occurred in a below-ground piping system, resulting in the release of 910,000 gallons of potable water. The released water entered Paulin Creek, but the flow ceased at 0742 hours on December 11, 2024. Despite the release, the surrounding community was unaffected, and there were no reported environmental impacts from the incident. The water flow was contained within the creek, and there is no indication of any negative consequences for the localized water quality. The caller reported that their personnel will conduct maintenance and repairs.
