Orignal Description:Debris obstructed the cleanout of a single-family home, causing a sewage overflow near the listed location. The spill extended onto an adjacent undeveloped property and into a dry culvert. Multiple crews from the Yosemite West Utility District addressed the situation at the residence. They cleared the cleanout and the connected sewer main, restoring normal flow. Technicians are disinfecting the site, with cleanup efforts to follow. No damage to private property has been reported.
Update(s): 06/11/2024 09:05:52 AM - Mariposa County Public Works personnel discovered that the spill did reach the water of West Creek. The amount of sewage that impacted the creek is unknown. The reporting party will update the California State Warning Center with more information.
