g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A third party contractor damaged a 2 inch plastic underground main with a boring machine causing the material to release into the atmosphere. The release started at 1541 and is still on going. Southern California Gas crews are on scene as well as fire department and police department. 13 people have been evacuated from a nearby commercial business (auto body shop). Goodyear Avenue is shut down between Market and Westinghouse Street. Westinghouse is shut down from Goodyear Ave to Telephone Road. No injuries have been reported. The reporting party will call back when release has been secured.
