Orignal Description:Release Due to a Storm Surge. Per the reporting party, due to a blockage and a storm surge, a main line backed up. The back pressure caused a clean out to overflow into the Storm Water System. The City of Folsom was notified of the overflow at 0930 in the morning. At 1030 the overflow was stopped and controlled. The sewage went into the Storm Water System and is unrecoverable. It is unknown where the storm drain leads. City of Folsom personnel cleared the blockage, and the line was restored to normal operations.

Per the reporting party: Updated of information listed in Section 2g: Of the 45 gallons of sewage that was released, 10 gallons of that went into the storm drain. The updated time that the City of Folsom was notified of the release is now 0831 hours and operators arrived on scene at 0928 hours. Updated stop and control time of flow is 1033 hours. The storm drain system that the sewage entered is a tributary of the south branch of Linda Creek. Update to Section 4b: Time is updated to 0831 hours.
