Orignal Description:Per the reporting party: A vehicle working on a construction site rolled onto its side due to operator error and released less than 100 gallons of diesel onto the surrounding dirt and into a nearby storm drain that leads into a dry culvert on site. The maximum capacity of the vehicle fuel tank is 100 gallons. It is unknown if there were any immediate actions taken to collect the material. Caltrans and CHP are on scene and have shut down a single lane of a two lane exit at the Bolsa Chica exit. Contractor ANCON will be conducting cleanup and removal of the release.

SITUATION UPDATE:
The original report location was inaccurate. The incident involved a solo vehicle accident. They were towing a trailer, and the trailer flipped over onto its side. The incident occurred on I-405 south at the SR-22 interchange. The clean-up is underway, and the spill is contained.
