g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, at approximately 0846 this morning, the County of San Diego experienced a sewage overflow due to a blockage at the listed location. At 1015 hours, the release of sewage was stopped and contained. Of the listed 5700 gallons, 1200 gallons were recovered. The rest of the reported sewage impacted the street and a storm drain which leads into an unknown creek. The blockage occurred in an 8-inch clay main line. County of San Diego personnel cleared the blockage and utilized 2 vacuum trucks to clean the release. They washed the street with cleanser and collected the material for disposal. They suspect that the blockage was caused by rags. The release occurred at the intersection of Tavern Road and Arnold Way.
