DESCRIPTION: Per the NRC report, the caller reported that they received a phone call from an employee at the marina, he mentioned about the discovery of a partially submerged vessel in San Francisco Bay. The employee also noticed an unknown sheen around the vessel. The cause of vessel sinking is unknown. The sheen odor is described as diesel. The vessel is called the Hamcat. It’s number is CF6118GF. It is a 20-foot-long fiberglass hulled pleasure craft, and it is aground. The environmental impacts are unknown, and it is unknown if the release is secured.
