Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, a total of 59.3 barrels of produced oil and water were released from well number 364-8R. Of this amount, only 1 barrel was released onto soil and vegetation. The release has been stopped and contained, with no impact to nearby waterways. Cleanup efforts are currently in progress and are being managed by a contractor.
Update(s): 11/22/2024 12:14:37 PM - Per Reporting Party: Updating amounts and spill types from the onsite OSPR representative. Total release of 59.37 barrels of total fluid, containing 2.73 barrels of iron sulfite, and trace amounts of crude oil. It did impact an unnamed ephemeral waterway. No wildlife was affected per onsite biologist who is monitoring the spill. The release was caused by a pressure safety valve that lifted due to operational upset. The release is stopped, contained, and cleanup is underway.

Total release of 59.37 barrels of total fluid, containing 2.73 barrels of iron sulfite, and trace amounts of crude oil. It did impact an unnamed ephemeral waterway.
