g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: A homeowner was digging on their property and damaged a half inch service line with their shovel causing a release of natural gas. The owner did not have a digging permit. The release began at 1245 hours and was controlled at 1256 hours. South Lake Tahoe Fire Dept. was dispatched to the location. Southwest Gas will be conducting repairs of the service line.
