g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A mechanical failure on a pole mounted transformer caused the release of material onto the utility pole and asphalt around the base of the utility pole. A PG&E crew will be dispatched to the site. The release is not stopped. This transformer holds between 25 to 30 gallons of mineral oil. No waterways impacted. The utility pole is located in a parking lot; the area around it has been cordoned off. A contractor will be handling clean up. PG&E will be testing a sample of the released material to determine PCB content.
