g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, at approximately 1512 this afternoon, a third party contractor damaged a 1/2 inch plastic service line while digging post holes. The release of natural gas is currently ongoing. There was no vapor visible. There was no fire or explosion. The area is safe. The Highland Fire Department is on scene, and they have evacuated five individuals from two different residences. There are no road closures. Southern California Gas personnel are en route to the incident to stop the release and repair the damaged service line.
