Orignal Description:Per the Reporting Party: Approximately 1 quart of motor oil released from the engine compartment of a 15 foot "flat boat" type vessel (single engine, outboard motor) into the water causing a sheen. It is unknown what caused the release. The release has been stopped. The San Diego Harbor Police boat patrol on scene with the vessel and pushed the sheen under a dock and towards to the shore. No clean up efforts were undertaken.
