Orignal Description:Per NRC report, Caller stated an eastbound Amtrak passenger train struck a trespasser and the trespasser ran off. No injuries or fatalities reported.

SITUATION UPDATE:
Per additional NRC report (1404146) from Metro Link : "The caller reported that an Amtrak passenger train struck an unknown individual on the tracks. This did not occur at a grade crossing. This incident resulted in two passenger train delays but no passengers were transferred. This resulted in main tracks 1 and 2 being closed for 2 hours. Both tracks are back in service. The individual was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries." Remedial Actions : "The caller reported that the tracks were closed during the investigation. Local authorities were on scene. The individual was taken to the hospital." Anaheim PD Case # 24-105642.
