g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, this is a Partial Treatment Event occurring at the Point Loma Waste Water Treatment Plant. On 11/02/2024, at approximately 1950 in the evening, there was a power outage which caused the release of the listed partially treated waste water. The power was restored within minutes; however, the last piece of equipment in the process was restored at 0310 the following morning on 11/03/2024. The release of partially treated water continued for 7 hours and 20 minutes. The treated water left the plant through the plant's normal ocean outfall. There is no clean-up required in this release. The release is unrecoverable.
