g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Report Party : At their food processing facility one of the exterior storage tanks that contains a grease and water had a clog developed in the drain line causing the storage tank overfill and release contents onto the pavement outside and then ran into a nearby storm drain. It is unknown where the storm drain leads. The release has been stopped. Approximately 500 gallons of the released material entered the storm drain prior to it being stopped. Employees on site are conducting clean up utilizing pressure washing and absorbents; a contractor has been contacted to attempt to pump out the storm drain. A representative from Los Angeles County Health and Environmental Control is on scene. There were no injuries associated with this incident.
