DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, at approximately 1725 this evening, the East Palo Alto Sanitary District experienced a man hole sewer overflow which was caused by a blockage; however, the cause is still being investigated. 1,210 gallons of the sewage were recovered, and 654 gallons were not recovered. No waterways were affected. The spill was stopped at 1830 hours. Dirt berms were built around the release, and the sewage was recovered with a vacuum truck. The sewage went into a ditch. West Bay Sanitary District will be performing the clean-up. | ||
