g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: A vehicle struck an above ground MSA meter connected to a one inch gas line causing a release of natural gas. Upon arrival on scene of responding personnel, they discovered that both the vehicle and the meter are missing. The release began at 1739 hours and was controlled at 1754 hours. Repairs are currently being conducted by Southwest Gas personnel. The residents and surrounding residents were not affected by this release.
