g. DESCRIPTION: The air release valve in the sanitation system failed for reasons that remain unclear, causing sewage to spill onto the grounds of a single-family home. The Nevada County Sanitation District was notified, and a crew was sent to the site. Upon arrival, they secured the area and shut down the system, stopping the release. Permanent repairs were made, and the affected areas were cleaned.
