g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party: A collection of grease and rags created a blockage in a city sewer main causing the release of material via a man hole cover; the release is on going. The material is running into a dry drainage inlet (above ground) and flowing towards Sausal Creek. A City of Oakland Public Works crew has arrived on scene and is attempting to stop the flow and remove the blockage. The crews are also placing sand bags to prevent the flow from continuing into the drainage inlet. The City will also be handle clean up. There are no roadway closures. The material that already entered the drainage inlet will be unrecoverable.
