g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: A guest having issues with his truck attempted to open up a water release valve in their engine compartment which released a small amount of diesel onto the ground. The individual immediately secured the valve and attempted to start their vehicle. As they did, more diesel began to release due to the valve not being fully secured. This material got onto the asphalt and sand around the vehicle. Absorbents were applied to the impacted areas and most of the material has been collected and stored in bins with Hazmat labels for them to be taken by a third party. The remaining material has had absorbents applied and will be collected tomorrow on 12/13/2024.
