g. DESCRIPTION: A vapor release occurred at the listed facility during a routine chemical mixing process. The incident happened because a technician applied an inaccurate amount of product to an outdoor 12,000-gallon above-ground treatment tank. The release emanated from an opening near the tank's agitator and into the atmosphere. The technician halted the addition of the product, stopping the release. The technician was not injured and did not suffer any exposure to the chemical. The local fire department responded to the scene and assisted with the situation. No personnel evacuations were necessary and the facility has remained in operation.
