g. DESCRIPTION: During business hours, a gas detection alarm alerted personnel at a local business. On-site staff investigated and pinpointed an anhydrous ammonia system as the origin of the release. Upon inspection, it was found that a loose vapor gauge was causing the issue. The gauge was tightened, stopping the release. There were no fires, exposures, or need for personnel evacuations. The facility remained operational throughout the incident and continues to operate.
