g. DESCRIPTION: The reporting party states, during a routine inspection of the flow rate, they observed a significant leakage of approximately 1000 gallons on the ground. Immediately they shut down the 24-inch main line and initiated cleanup procedures using absorbent materials. The sewage impacted a grassy area near the airport before entering the Goleta Slough, with potential further dispersion into the ocean.
