g. DESCRIPTION: | Per Reporting Party: There is an estimated 500 gallon a minute flow of an unknown sludge coming from a pipe that is believed to belong to a mining company. The release was estimated to have been happening for 30 days. The release is on a dry river bed that leads into Seymour Creek which also meets Lockwood Creek. Lockwood Creek mixes into Piru Creek which leads into Pyramid Lake which is a drinking reservoir It is unknown if there are any actions taken to stop and contain the spill. Release is still ongoing. It unknown if any actions were taken to clean up the spill. | ||
